The first new gallery is a brief one representing an even briefer weekend trip to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in April 2011 to meet up with some friends. The weather was generally cooperative but the time too short for both the photography and the friends. Go to the "Great Smoky Mountains National Park" gallery below and you will find the Spring Smokies images inside that folder.
The newest galleries are - "A Colorado Fall - 2011" and the "Southern Utah - Northern Arizona - November 2011" gallery.
The Fall Colorado gallery contains images and experiences captured in September and October of 2011 in some of my favorite Centennial State haunts, Aspen, Crested Butte, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride and all the special locations around those towns. The Southern Utah - Northern Arizona gallery represents a new destination for me. I've been to Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon before but always during the summer months when the crowds rival the temperatures in terms of creating discomfort. This time it was different and even a bit magical.
New, also, is "Oregon Coast - May 2011". I traveled to the Oregon coast for a second time and found some new fun in the form of friends and images. This time I didn't ruin my tripod and ballhead. Knowing how to deal with salt water and sandy beaches takes some time and experience but I think I have that part down now. Take a look.
